Project
Skapa – A boilerplate theme for WordPress with ACF and Tailwind CSS
Skapa is a WordPress theme I developed as a versatile starting point for client websites. It’s designed to streamline my workflow and ensure that each project starts with solid, customizable foundations.
Key Features
I have built Skapa with efficiency and flexibility in mind, it includes:
- Efficient file bundling: Using Laravel Mix, I can compile JavaScript and Sass files and integrate Tailwind CSS for a consistent, responsive design framework.
- Responsive header and mobile menu: I created a mobile-friendly header with an offcanvas menu for easy navigation across devices.
- Flexible footer section: I designed the footer so clients can easily add or update contact details without hassle.
- Standard templates: I set up template files for single-page and single-post views, which helps me quickly set up core content structures.
- Simple styling and customizable color scheme: Skapa includes basic typography styling and a flexible color scheme, making it easy to tailor to individual brands.
Accessibility and Performance
From an accessibility and performance standpoint, I’ve built Skapa to meet high standards, consistently scoring 100 on Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO in PageSpeed Insights. This ensures the sites I build are not only functional but also inclusive and optimized.
By creating Skapa, I aimed to simplify the process of building simple, effective websites for small to medium-sized businesses. This project has allowed me to develop efficient solutions for common site elements while keeping customization options open, allowing each project to reflect the unique needs of my clients.
